Deer Valley Rock Art Center hosts 2 weeks of great summer camp options for youth.
June 2-6 & June 16-20, 2014
"The Deer Valley Rock Art Center offers an action-packed summer camp for children 8 to 11 at a real archaeological site and desert nature preserve.
Campers learn about archaeology, cultural anthropology, American Indian cultural traditions, desert ecology and animals through hands-on educational activities, archaeological fieldwork and demonstrations, art projects, nature hikes, storytelling and games."

I will be offering art workshops at the camp 4 out of the 5 days each week. Themes include Petroglyphs, Archaeology, Desert Animals, Native People, and Desert Plants.
