About Studio Support Donation
Join Christy Puetz, mixed media artist and former Director of Education of The Bead Museum for an exploration of the history and symbolism of beads and beaded artifacts from around the world. In this two-part class, students will discuss the significance of bead materials, colors and textures.  Then, try your hand at beading basics, learn how to use bead tools and make beads of your own.  Choose from a mixture of global beads to tell your story in a beautiful piece of wearable art.  Students will create 2-3 finished pieces of their own. All supplies provided.
